Bobby the Blob

Bobby is a needle felted soft sculpture made with natural grey and plant dyed Himalayan wool sourced from Harsil Valley in Uttarakhand, India. This wool has been plant dyed with Sappanwood (for purple) and Marigold (for yellow). Bobby's tendrils and legs are wire and his eyes are glass.

Bobby is part three of my Texture Creecher series and is actually unpleasant to touch, due to the tendrils on his body. He's UFO shaped and looks like an alien being from outer space or deep water.
