Hello Old Flame is a needle felted soft sculpture made with natural brown and plant dyed Himalayan Wool sourced from the Jad Bhotia Community of Dunda Village, Harsil Valley in Uttarakhand, India.
Inspired by the Flame of the Forest, a leafless bloom that marks the arrival of a short spring, bidding adieu to despondent winter. I'm thinking now of all the versions of myself I used to be and how I can never be any of them again. But the memories will remain (and haunt) for many seasons yet.
